On being a lefty
Being left handed should not be a stopper for anything related to fountain pens. I recommend making it easy for yourself in the start, this means shorten dry time. You can do this by picking paper with that property, or inks that dry fast or with thinner nibs. You can move on to combos that don't dry fast once you get used to it. Being left handed is not really a problem, but can be a unconvenience. There are some stuff though:
- I never use left handed models.
- Some pens are very uncompatible with left handed writers; like the Lamy Safari and all the other cheaper Lamy models.
- Because you push the nib instead of dragging it most of the time, you will wear down incs faster.
